Installing heatshield and sound deadening

Hey all,

I just bought a heat shiled from jegs to be placed on top of my trans tunnel and firewall. Apparently it didn't stick well with the adhesive. For those of you who have done this, what type of glue do you recommend?

Make sure you use a heat gun when applying, you shouldn't have any problem with it forming and adhering

So don't need a glue or anything? Is the roller really necessary? is there any other subtitutes besides that?

from my personal experiences, I know that the stuff does not stick well right out of the box. I used my heat gun to heat it up a bit, that makes it more pliable to form to the area where you want it, and then just stick it right on there. I just used my hand with gloves and works like a champ. if you have any problem areas just heat it right up again to press it back down.
