Default Junk Yard door... how to test the internals?

The driver door on my Bird needs to be replaced. It's sagging and the area around, where the hinges bolt in, is cracking.

I have a door that I pulled off a Bird, but it's been sitting outside, for a few years. How can I test the guts to see if they are still good?

Thanks!

Manual actuate the striker mechanism on the door then pull the handle and make sure it unlocks the mechanism. Pretty easy

Use a power probe or a battery and some leads

I'd just get a new window motor for it anyways while you have the door in your hands. Even if it works it's probably slow.
