2000 Trans Am ground effect clip
Hey everyone so it looks like I have 1 bad clip on my driver's side ground effect. It's the one closest to the rear tire it's popped out and visible making the effect sag off the car enough to see the clip. What's the best way to remedy this situation? New clip, will a new one pop back up and stay? 3M double sided tape? Any ideas or suggestions welcome.
Also the passenger side headlight cover on the flip ups..... It's making contact with the car when down. It's scratching the paint. What would be causing this to happen? Could the eyelid be need to be unscrewed and realigned?

For the headlight cover, you probably just need to adjust it. There should be a couple of screws holding it on. Over time the cover may have gradually slid causing it to make contact. Just un-tighten the screws, realign it, and re-tighten those screws up so that it no longer makes contact. As for the ground efx, maybe a new clip..i cant really say.

Double sided tape. I found the tape doesn't hold to the paint if any on ground effect. But it will hold to primer. I have always used the end mounts with screws and double sided tape for the rest.
