The including jambs and engine bay?
What color is the car now?
Using a sealer or no?
We need a lot more info to accurately answer that question.

By sealer MY_2K_Z means epoxy primer. It is used as a base so colors don't bleed through new paint or block out older style or unknown paints. It is also a good base for new paint to adhere to.

If you are still have the factory paint, then typically a sealer isn't required. Without any pictures, it is hard to judge the condition of your actual car. You could possible get away with sanding clear then painting new. It could also be worse damage.

You should paint the jambs, it will look half a$$ed is you leave them shiny.

You can probably get away with just a gallon of paint. Make sure you get the correct activator for you temperature. Check out Eastwood.
