Changing Fender Emblems. The emblems on the fenders of my car were junk and one was gone when I got the car. so ordered some of the new style Z28 Emblems like on the 2015 Z28. went to pull the old one off last night and clean up the area.
Got one of the Stripe Remover eraser tools and it took a bit to get most of the old dried up tape off but there is still some stuff that looks like glue left. I can feel it but its hard to see unless you look at it from an angle.
Do any of you all have any other advise on getting this stuff off?
I was thinking heat gun and get it warmed up then hit it with the eraser again.

i have had good luck using a hair dryer to soften the adhesive, and then use Purple Power or Simple Green. Have a hose handy and flush with a lot of water. I have used a scrub pad, but obviously you have to be careful and make sure you get the "non-scratch" ones.
I was lucky, mine peeled right off and a little windex cleaned things up. The new Z28 emblems is one of the best body mods you can do to these cars and its a nice and cheap one too.
