Sorry I couldn't figure out how to start a post with pictures and text at the same time from my phone. 2000 Firehawk, it's a Trans Am we all know that. Car has been sitting for a long time and I'm going down the rabbit hole cleaning/polishing/coating everything. Ended up removing the t top/door seal rubber due to the high level of gunk everywhere. On the front and rear of the t tops there are foam inserts/pieces at the joint. For those who have done the same thing is there a part number for these or did you make your own. This car car has sat for too long and I will probably end up taking 1/2 the car apart to get it where it should be.

Thanks for any help.

after finally having some time to look at these some more. It "looks" like there a foam gasket that goes behind the metal channel that bolts to the a piller and b pillar that holds the weather stripping. In a few spots it looks pretty thick. My "guess" is it's thicker in those areas to help press the weather stripping against the door glass to keep it from leaking. I've been looking online for these but haven't had any luck and no idea what to call them.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to take the seals out so someone has ran into this before.
