Primer and the elements
Their black epoxy has some uv resistance to it,Can be used permanently uncoated on underpinnings & for years on exterior parts in sunlight. With any epoxy, part of it's appeal is bonding things together & it has time windows to work within. Needs a day to dry for filler to be applied over, 2 for poly sprays, & within the first 7 days can be coated over without scuffing. After 7 days & especially months after, your best bond is achieved lightly sanding & giving a light fresh coat of epoxy before moving forwards with bodywork being done.
SPI epoxy is also glossy, which lets you better see what needs to be done & works as a guidecoat when you start sanding & removing the shine.
Here is a part I coated with it this week while still wet..
Also compatable with any shops other finishes.
