3rd/4th gen panel compatibility

3rd/4th gen panel compatibility Hey all, coming back to F-body stuff after a LONG time.. I recently picked up a 98 Firebird that i will be building into a small tire, stock suspension, heads up car... I have a few questions regarding body panel compatibility between the 3rd gen cars and the 4th gen cars.
Question 1. My car is a MI car. It seems in great shape from the outside, and the PO said it was rarely driven in the winter. (I have yet to really rip into it to start building as I have to finish my race bike before the WERA season starts...) However, I will be putting a 25.3 cage in it and depending on space I may have the floor structure inside the car or outside the car under the floorboards. In the event that the floor panels are rusty or junk, I cannot seem to find any replacement panels anywhere.. Am I missing something here? I did some research and I found a few posts from many years ago stating that the 3rd gen and 4th gen cars shared the same floor panels. Can anyone verify this for me? For the sake of class rule eligibility I want to put as much of the stock floor back in the car as possible..
Question 2. My drivers side rocker panel has a big crease/dent down pretty much the entire length of the panel.. I've been searching around for a replacement panel for it but I haven't been able to find one from a reputable retailer. I suppose I could be looking in the wrong direction though.
I really wanted to buy a 3rd gen, but this 4th gen literally fell right into my lap..
