ho to - Door Alignment 2002 Hello All,
Does anyone know of a video or thread that talks about the best way to align a door on a 2002 Firebird?
I am going to pull of the doors this weekend and want to ensure I set it up right. I have a shop try this a few month ago, when they went to remove it, the put another crack in the door panel. Decided not to continue the misaligned the door try to get it out of the shop.

It takes a lot of patience, trial-and-error, and good sockets with good extension pieces. Just loosen the hinges where they bolt to the car body, adjust, tighten, and the properly torque them.
When you do this, you'll get a better result if you take the door panel off and unscrew the door latch at the back of the door. (So it doesn't contact the strike and lift lower the door as you shut it. If you get it clean without the latch, then it should click like new when you put the latch back on.)
