Hood Issues 2000 Camaro SS Hood Issues

Bought this car has the cowl cut to just below the windshield, no wipers, etc. The black plastic cowl cover still somewhat fit and stay on. The problem is that when it rains, water just pours on to of the motor. While sometimes I keep it covered or under cover it’s impossible to do all the time here in Florida. I’m ready to replace the hood with a fiberglass replacement that goes all the way to the windshield, I’m assuming there will be some way to seal it somewhat to the windshield. What is everyone’s experience with this???? Pin On, or hinge what are my options….
This is a True Street car that will be running some bracket races in Bradenton, it has drag radials and try to never get caught in the rain while driving. It is trailered to the track…..
