Sorry, I should have been pointing to the gap between the plastic water drain trim and the body, the other side looks tight and fits perfectly. But the passenger side has a gap. I just updated the attached picture. You can press on it due to it having a gap.

That's 100% the way the plastic is shaped ( and warped after years of use ), nothing wrong with the car itself. Mine does the same thing. If you want it to fit flush, I'd put a piece of double sided trim tape underneath to hold it down.
