Did some paint correction and ceramic this weekend
Tons of swirls everywhere. Evident especially on the hood.
More swirls, haze, and completely untouched scratches
This one was odd. When shining a light from my flashlight the paint had an almost mottled look to it. Early signs of oxidation maybe? In any case, you can see even more scratches here that went completely untouched.
Hood after two passes of compound and polish
Same spot on the trunk lid. Massive improvement!
Just after two passes of compound.
Same spot after polish. Always makes me smile seeing the clarity that shows up once some polish gets laid down!
Got the car fully ceramic'ed as well. The shine is officially un-real on the car. Lights inside the garage don't do it justice. Once the sun decides to come out and give me some decent weather I'll update this post with more pics!
Also for those curious, I used Adam's products!

I've only had one black car, it was an '89 Formula 350. I sold it in 1999. That was the first and last time I've ever owned black...lol.
With that said, I actually think I'd be more willing to have a black car as a daily driver than for a garage queen - reason being, I'm really picky about the paint on those and no matter how nice you get black to look, it's already dusty by the time you get to an event. Then it needs cleaning again. I don't worry quite so much about perfection with my drivers. Even still, black is never a color that I purposely seek out and and it would need to be a pretty good deal for me to consider it.
But back on point - BOTH Camaros in this thread look to have come out with some beautiful finishes!
