Default After repairing a busted lower hinge pad on the door, having issues aligning the door

Help!
I have a 2000 camaro ss convertible
I had a really bad door sag after having forcably closing my door.
It seems that this broke the door. I got the door off and repaired the area around where the lower hinge mounts. I did track the issue down to roller and I replaced that.
I did NOT take the fender off.
Now I have the door back on, but I am having issues aligning the door.
I can get the door in position, with snug bolts, but when I open the door to get to the hinges, the door slips. I have tried tighten the bolts just a little, but I cannot find a sweet spot that will let my move the door with a door alignment tool but hold the position. I was concerned that the pad build up would have been too thick, but I can get the door in the cooect position, just can't keep it there to tighten the bolts.

It seem like I am going to need to pull the fender, which seems to need to pull the bumper cover and a few other parts.
I am looking for some detailed instructions, but I am not finding any.

Are there any diagrams that show exactly what bolts / clips and parts that need to be removed?
Or videos? I could not find any after several days of searching.
Thanks!

Mc
