After thinking about it for years I got bored the other night. Ripped it all off! At 27 years old I was always afraid of what might be underneath it or happen while removing it. It always pissed me off that the molding wasn't even really that straight anyway. It left little to no adhesive on the body, I was really surprised. I spent more time cleaning off the dirt and hard water staining than anything else. After some light product and elbow grease she's good to go.

I have a silver ss and the molding was starting to discolor. It left a metric ton of adhesive when I pulled it. Being said, it looks 100 times better without that garbage.
