but i would look into colors like the Nissan blue on the 350z, atomic orange on the C6 vette, or cayenne red metallic, or the darker red color on vettes. go with a factory color, jsut doesn;t ahve to be a f-body factory color. i really doubt taht ur insurance is goin to pay for ur door jambs and engine bay and stuff to get painted tho. unless ur car is black right now, i would get it repainted stock color
The only time I ever saw a car that had "every panel" scratched was when the owner did it to try to get a free paint job....lol
I just had mine repainted not too long ago because of hail/wind damage. even tho the body shop sprayed some in the door/hatch jams they blended everything...they didn't spray the entire door/hatch and under the hood.

They aren't going to give you enough money to cover HOK or another brand of candy type paint. You're talking 2500+ just for paint if you go with a red/orange candy and take it completely apart and do all the jambs etc.
Just go to all the new car lots and look around at the colors and find one you like. Whether or not you will be able to get the jambs and other stuff done will depend on what you get from the insurance company and how much the body shop is willing to do the job for.
Insurance laws vary by state too so it may be different where you are. Here we get three written estimates... give them to the adjuster. They will inspect the car themselves and they will usually give you the average of the three unless they think they are getting ripped off. Also here, the check from the insurance company is made out to YOU, not the body shop. So then you can take your money and car and go around and get some more competitive pricing.
