Clear tape
I was just curious if anyone has used the clear tape to put on your front end or wherever to eliminate chips. I was curious if it yellows or anything over time and if its that noticable, I know of a guy around here who does it and will give me a price so I was also curious how much it usually is. Any info would be nice, thanks.

Yea the worst part of my car for chips are the headlight covers and doors, but i was planning on putting it on the front end and maybe behind the rear tires, if you dont mind how much did that run you

The kit I got was about $250-$300 back then. From what I've heard there are better kits out there that don't have as many slits in it as that one did. I orginally had it on the bumper too but there were so many slits in it....the manufacturers way of making it bend around the curves that I took it off because I didnt like the looks of it at all. I just left the hood and headlight door parts on.

SEM makes a clear spray on chip guard, we use it at work. Although it has a texture, for the bottom part of the bumper and behind the wheel opening i think it would look fine. Dont know about the headlight covers though

Yep xpel sells them and I installed mine myself. They have a "5" star next to the kit for the bumper as in you need some skill to apply it but I didnt have any trouble at all doing it myself. You can get just he headlight doors/hood/mirrors for $139
