I have some rust on the subframes, and weld spots on the subframes to body as well as other spots. I will be grinding that down and painting the rusty spots. What paint do you guys recommend for this? Also what type of grinding tools you recommend for an air tool or drill? I might use the 3m wheel for the more open spots and some sort of abrasive air tool bit for the hard to reach spots.

Maybe try some of the por-15 products or eastwood >>>>> carries alot of good stuff.

I will look into those more, but how are they usually applied, spray gun or brush? I have heard can be both.
