body parts
body parts I ran over something on the highway a rock I think and it came up and broke the bottom my fender and took a chunk out of the corner on my door.I've located a passenger side door & fender that matches my car color .How hard is it to bolt them on or should I let a body shop do it? I have installed all my bolt on's and suspension parts myself ,but never messed with body parts.
i would say do it yourself. i would, esp. if you have done all the other stuff yourself. just maybe have a friend help you with the door and line everything up before you tighten down completely. the only thing that sucks is the spring in the door. it can be a pain. there is a tool to compress it to take it out and put back in. if you could get ahold of one that would help out alot. also find out how much a local body shop would charge.
