Damn dude, glad to hear everything is being fixed. I got my 1997 Trans Am when I was 19 in Feburary of 2006. Just passed the 1 year Anniversary. Got no damage, but came close in the snow. Just be careful, stay off the happy pedal unless you know you and your car will be ok.

yeah it blows *** but at least hes not being douche bag and not paying for it...i guess it just gives me another reason to get a paint job.

If it were me, I wouldn't repaint the car a different color. Whatever it is keep it that color. It takes a lot of time and a lot more $$$ to do a full repaint done right. Otherwise you'll have mismatched paint under the hood, bottom of car, and other places.
Sucks about your car though but good thing he's paying for the damage. Is he paying out of pocket or is he filing it?

as everyone else has said this is a prime example why NO ONE BUT YOU should drive your car i am 19 also (turning 20 in a couple weeks ) but this june will mark the one year for me and my car and i have told my friends stright up there is no way in hell they are driveing my car along with a few other rules (no eating ,no smokeing ect..) im glad your buddy is paying for it and i hope it all works out when you get it back just be careful but as far as your buddy goes if it was me i would have went ufc on his *** and broken every bone possiable (sp) he should be happy all he got was a punch in the nose but anyways good luck man

Man I feel for you I try not to let anyone drive my car. I let a guy at my dealer drive the car with me in it and he knocked off one of my mufflers. I was so pissed but its because the damn car is so low. I am glad I went because I would have beat him up if I had not of witnessed what happened.

I have let people drive my camaro, they also drive alot faster cars than mine. Well, except for my dad, I'm expecting him to wreck the car everytime he drives it, but he also paid for the car. So, i suppose he could wreck his own car. I just dont let people have fun at my car's expense. Just make sure they fix the hatch right, it should close with little force. My car had a quarter panel replaced by the dealer and Ive spent way too much money getting everything to fit right again.
