man that sticks out like a sore thumb. def need to get rid of that. just paint it black like the rest of the car.

I tried using an allen wrench to the rivets but only one will spin and the rest won't move....was that cut into my body?

thats what i was going to ask if u have to cut the body. i plan on painting it black and leaving the rivets silver. and i would diff buy it if i dont have to cut into the body. so does anyone know?

I did a search.....it says you don't have to cut the body...I was worried if I took it out that it'd have holes in the body....but you can go back to stock no problem

From what I've read, those can be put on without cutting the fender. The plastic shroud that covers the gaping hole around your gas tube will most likely be cut to ****. If you can't get the rivets out, the damn thing might just be glued in there. There are some pretty tough automotive glues available. I'll dig around and see if I can find anything on how to get it out.

Okay, here's a post from BitViper when he installed his. I'll post up the link so you can see how it was installed. You can probably "reverse-engineer" the installation to get the door off.

From what I've read, it seems those screws you are turning [and aren't loosening up] have nuts on the back of them holding the door onto the car. It seems to be a big pain in the *** to get them on, so I can only imagine how much worse it will be to get them off. Here's the thread. Make sure to let us know if this works to get it off, so we know for future reference.
