getting my bumper painted :) First day i had my TA out this year someone decided to "tap" me at a light. so...now i get my rear bumper repainted for free 
car is NBM, but im going to go with the CETA/BB lower part. Ive looked at a couple threads, but everyones got a different finish on theirs. I'm thinking maybe semi-gloss? Does anyone have a picture of this on a NBM car?
this will be my first exterior addition to the car. looks stock right now. doesnt sound it though

I'm waiting for the same thing to happen to me. 
I've been rear-ended a number of times in my old Camaro, and I drive my car in shitty Orlando traffic often enough. It's bound to happen sooner or later. CETA here I come.

Having to get any body panels repainted, whether free or not, is never something to be happy about. Most places, certainly not all, do work that is much below what I consider acceptable. Other things that happen to the car as a result, such as overspray, are also common results. How well the new paint holds up, especially on the flexible bumpers, remains to be seen. Cracks, peeling, and chipping are very common. I wouldn't be smiling.

thanks for your concern, but i know the guy that im taking it to. hes done work on all my previous cars and its always been quality.
i will be taking my bumper off and just dropping that off so that i dont have to have a ride back and forth. no worry for overspray. maybe i can finally get all that rubber off the rear bumpers now.
