stress cracks..
door probably took a shot from something, or maybe slammed really hard... and unless the crack is only in the paint (sand it out and spot) there isnt anything u can really done to have it go aways forever

If it is a crack in the fiberglass, you will need to have the fiberglass repaired then repaint.
If repaired correctly, it should be OK.
I had a crack repaired several years ago. You can't even find it!!!!!!! (Dog ran into the car... cracked the door panel.)

I have no idea why it ran into the door panel. But it DID!!!!! It was a fairly large size dog.
I remember seeing the dog hit the panel and the door flex in.
The dog did survie, for right after it rebounded of the panel, it got up off the ground and ran off!!!!!!
I didn't even notice the panel was cracked til the next day.
