Well sence that color isnt offered as a factory color it wont have a paint code. There is a new paint system that uses black base coat and a flat clear so the paint will actually last. Most flat/satin black paint jobs are just primer but sence primer is porous it will actually allow moisture to penetrat the surface and rust the metal undernieth. With the new paint system that uses the regular black base coat and flat clear seals the surface and makes your paint job last and look good for years. I hope this helps you out.

Im not 100% sure that GM used the new flat clear on the LS7 car or not. But if I were going to paint a car flat black that is the system I would use to make sure it lasts a long time.

PPG makes a preflattend preflexed clear for $52/gal according to there website. They also sell a flattening agent to add to clear coat. Your best bet would be to call PPG and speak with someone who really knows there product.

Or you can use PPG DP 90 epoxy sealer, it looks just like that.
