ground effects replacement
The shop said they followed the template GM provided to mount the two pieces to the fender. However, the edges nearest the tire are rotated so that they flare out. I believe this is related to the black clips the pieces hang on. Those black pieces are riveted to the bumper during the installation process. If they were mounted too high on the curve of the bumper, I think the piece rotates and causes it to flare out where it meets the wheel well.
So I'm undecided if I should leave it as is or if I risk more problems trying to get it to look proper. Right now the bottom lips of the ground effects near the wheel wells are probably 30* up from level, and if they were level it would look like stock. It obviously sticks out of line with the ground effects at the rear of the wheel well.
Thoughts?
