Default Clear Coat Help

Well I sprayed some clear on top of my taillights that I already had VHT Nightshaded....and for some reason the clear is bubbling everywhere....small little tiny bubbles....how can I fix this?? Do I need to sand them down? or what?

man it looks like you have a bad case of solvent pop. did you let the vht fully dry before you sprayed the clear? And if it is solvent pop which looks like tiny little bubbles my best advise is to sand all the way until you dont see them no more and respray you might have to start all over.

well I went ahead and sanded them all down but it seems like MAYBE I sprayed the clear on a little to thick....I dont know for sure....

You mean start all over like as in strip off all the clear and niteshades?

In the past i have had solvent pop problems and what i did was sand the clear with like 600 and then reclear but its very difficult to fill in the little craters if there is alot. You have to sort of mist it to get it in the holes and even when it dried you could still see slight inperfections. So if you want it perfect yeah i would sand it all the way down again. yeah too much clear will do that two to three coats is more than enough.
