Black Paint Question After months of trying to come up with colors for my '67 I had it down to Red and Blue, I have to decide by the end of the week and now I'm considering black 
I want a black without much brown in it, isn't the black on the WS6's (and probably other Fbodies but I see it most on them) this type? I just hate how some black's you can see brown or gold pigment in certain lights and I figured what better place to ask than here.

House of Kolor black is one of the blackest, so is sikkens deep black. Those are by far the best. And get a good clear if you are going with black. A good wet sand and you will have a glass mirror.
I'm using a Ferrari black ('97-'05) with PPG paint. Look in the conversions/hybrid section for a tread called "finally some progress on my third gen" and there are some pics of my engine bay with that paint. Beautiful color!
dude just warning you i hope thats a show car because black is impossible to maintain... ill never buy a black car again if i ever get rid of this car... just a fair warning... it shows everything...

I too have owned nothing but black cars, you just have to keep up with it!!
Dupont makes a jet black that just needs to be reduced, it is called 99K
and you are correct most blacks have small amounts of other colors in them as well.

shrugs alot of other colors get heads trnign towards them when they are moving or on the road etc...
But when you are checking them out up close etc.. nothing beats black..
Whats intimidating.. black cars.. they look hot.
