Default firber glass splinters

ok so I know this may sound kinda weird but i was washing my car today, and then after i dried it off with a towel my finger started to hurt. After looking at it for a bit i noticed small white things sticking out of it that looked like fiber glass shards. When i tried to pull them out they would break and just get smaller and harder to remove but i finally got all 6 of them out. Could this have been from my paint? or was it not even fiber glass at all

Its probably from the tail sections edges or if you have an aftermarket hood even your doors. look at the edges and see if you can see some splintering, but if that happens again dont try to pull them out your skin get some duc tape and put it over the affected area and pull fast it will take them right off.

that fiberglass is a bitch. my girls steps dad had me hold some fiberglass as he cut it with a sawzall. i knew it was fiberglass but he insisted it wasnt. sure enough, my arms were itching like a mother for the rest of the day. do what phoenix said, check all over your car. i crashed my car and now you can see the fiberglass in the door.
