I know it's not street legal in TX to use a blue neon undercarriage glow... what if I did the whole body a neon blue glow in the dark (not really gonna do it). Would there be any problems with it?
dont know about your laws in texas but yes the chrome paint has to be applied over black to get the full affect a friend of mine has sprayed it before. you base black and clear over that then completely wet sand and buff the clear so there are no imperfections. you let it sit for a week then wipe it down with alcohol and shoot the chrome over top of the polished clear. i think some of the soft feel would be nice on some interior panels
I have used it before its almost impossible to get a perfect black polished base for that chrome stuff and it looks like **** if you dont get it perfect. And the best it looks is like polished aluminium. Life is not all that neither its applied right over a perfectly polished clear then recleared without scuffing or sanding it starts to peel off after a while.
