Question! Important

I put a 4 inch cowl induction hood on my 2002 camaro z28 about a year ago.... had the nose and hood repainted... within a year the nose is practicly demolished from crap in the road.... little nicks all around... i was thinking about getting a bra for the car.... although they look like crap... but it would save the paint.... my uncle whos a mechanic said they have a clear cover mylar material that sticks to it instead of a bra... anyone ever heard of? if so where can i get?

I have heard of 3M making the front covers like that as well. I did not know that you could buy one pre-made to fit, but I do know that you can buy it by the roll and put it where ever you want too. However this stuff is not cheap, but it is way cheaper than a re-paint.
