I'm having some trouble getting the damn thing out on my 93 T/A. The locksmith suggested a screwdriver to just 'pop' the circular retention piece off, but its in there really good, and i already put a nick in my paint trying to pry it out so i can replace the cylinder. I'm sick of having to open my passenger side first and then let myself in. Please, does anyone know of the best way to change this thing out, or direct me somewhere with more info? Thank you.

take off the door panel and maybe the inner door wall and pop it out through the back where there is nothing in your and there is alot of stuff that you have to take off first the lock smith is a dumb *** go punch him in the face and make him pay to have your car painted if you need to see how it is done i will do it in the next few days and take pics so you can see what needs to be done but i will only do this if you pm me and need me to let me know and good luck with it
