Gun Metal gray help

Well i am going to get my rims painted Gun Metal Gray, but i have run into a problem, what paint code do i use??? I am new to painting and have no idea where to get it. The painter asked me what color i wanted and i told him, he then said i need to give him a paint code or at least a car with the color i want so he can get it. Anyhelp on a paint code or what type of gun metal gray???

Go buy a can of Duplicolor Gunmetal, take him he cap, let him match it, and take back the can of paint.

"Gun Metal Gray" is simply a name and not a specific color. That name probably has dozens of paint codes associated with it from all different manufacturers. Other than the Duplicolor method mentioned above, maybe the best best would be to go to your local paint supplier and look at some chips and narrow it down that way.
