First off the sail Isn't metal. If your getting bubbles you've gotta toss it and order a new one because the glue has damaged it and can't be saved. The panel is glued down so I've always just used piano cord and two pairs of visegrips. Get a friend for help on this. You have to open the hatch up and both of you lock down on each sides of the cord with the visegrips. Next get under the lip of the sailpanel from the side and start pulling back and forth like a saw. This will cut the glue and just work your selves up and across until all the glue is cut. Other way is a good old panel cutter with a flat chisel and break it apart, but you have to have skill and be very careful. Good Luck

A dealership or an online GM parts supplier. It will run you about $420, so yeah not too cheap.

you can try wet sanding them down with some 400 grit, prime then spray your black, but I know for a fact the bubbles will show back up.

Well the sun is what makes the glue push the bubbles out and even can "Bleed". The glue is effecting the panel, so if you grind it I can't see the filler even sticking. I think I would just hold off until you could replace it, otherwise your just throwing money down the drain.

To answer your question about if you should the CETA mod. I would say yeah, try it, it would be kind of hard to pull off on your color. Never seen it but I can picture it with flat black wheels looking pretty sweet. Tim.

I did ceta in black and I think you could pull it off with your color as well. Everyone has zr1s and c5 z06s go with something different in black like a c6 or the ceta wheels or powdercoat the ws6 wheels or even roh drift R is nice look around and you'll make the right decision

for the back panel, you could also think about doing it in gumetal. i have seen it done on a few darker cars and it looks great. u could still do the roof and mirrors in black if u wanted
