Default Re-condition the tail lights

Any tutorials out there to show how to wet sand/glaze the taillights to make them look new again? Anybody done it? I couldn't find it under search so I guess I'm plugging the wrong words in? Thanks

I sanded off all the casting marks and lettering on mine. Used a Black & Decker Mouse for the sanding all the way to 1600 grit wet paper by hand, and used my variable speed buffer with a foam pad and the Meguires #'d products. Was awkward, to hold the light between my leggs and gently go back and forth with the buffer, got COVERED with compund but the results were fantastic.

Hard to photograph . . .

In this pic you can see the lettering highlighted by wax build up along the bottom.

All shined up!
