too busy. and it PINstriping, not pen. the hood bird isnt bad.....not like a 2nd gen, but its not bad. too much striping around the nose, and i really dont like it around the headlights. i think there was a hurst TA, black and gold. gold stripes over the ram air hood, gold wheels, other accents. i think that looks better as a 'bandit' type 4th gen then the pictured one. the 77 Trans Am bumper script is ok, but id move it more to the right, under the headlight.
this is my best friends car and yes it is one of those cars that you either love it or hate it there is no inbetween.....all i can say when he has his real 77 and that and his 00 parked next to each other at shows it is a show stopper....and yes he has a house invested in this thing......800+ rwhp off the bottle close to a 1000 on the bottle....read the article in the pontiac magazine where this was featured.....todd has spent tons of money and time...the bird was "hand painted" not a decal....the list goes on and on.....
as far as the year one rims they came out with....they are all custom made to the car or truck of your choice...bandit8 has a set comming for the car in above pic....should look sick....

i think most of it is kool. i respect the idea and like most of the work that went into this car but i dont think the striping belongs on a 4th gen. good work though and good attention to detail.

I have a buddy with a white 99 t/a with a gold pin striping and a fabacted hood scoop just like a bandit. It looks very clean No bird on the hood tho. I'll give him a call and see if i can get some pics later today.

was a guy on 2005 Power Tour with a 2000-1 Ragtop ws6 supercharged[vortech] all done up like the BANDIT---looks great..[if u like being B.Reynold's Imposter]. 
well thanks guys for all of yalls interesting inputs, but im going to have to go ahead and do it! actually its being done as we speak. the only thing not going on the car is the pinstriping. i will def. post pictures up once i get it out of the shop!

Im going to a car show this Sunday, will show you guys my version of the BRE edition Bandit Trans Am! Its a little bit of YearOne, the older Trans Am look and my version of what the 4th. gen could have looked like! I hope you guys like it. Remember, its not a tribute without the stripes! I just cleaned alot of the mess so that its not so busy that it ACTUALLY looks pretty good! The RAM-AIR hood MAKES the phoenix a little messy, but a retro-style, shaker scoop from the '77 T/A makes it come alive! See you all Sunday, hopefully with a trophy and pictures!! Wish me luck!
