Can I fix this myself?
Someone hit me and ran. The car is old and the overall paint on the car is faded anyways, so I just want to perform a quick fix until I can one day get the entire car repainted.

i think you should be able to fix it... it looks like its only the fender... i would remove it and see if you can pop back in that hit... i don't know if the fenders are fiberglass??? if they are that dent should pop right into place... then you should sand it and paint it or just primer it!

Replace the panel!!! If you attempt to fix the crack, the repair will shrink later on down the road and you will see it under the paint. What it is made of and the plastic repair on the market will Expand and contract at diffrent rates.
Stick with an origanal GM fender for fit and finish. If you can find a good used one, just do that... You should have no trouble finding a black one if your patient. contact local wrecking yards near you. Or go to the self serve ones and look around.
Best of luck...

if it's cracked then it's going to be extremely hard to fix to where you wont see it so your better off just trying to find a fender from someone one and then getting it painted or repainted if you go with a used one.. better yet maybe you can find one thats already black

First things first.. Get a new fender and take it to a local body shop and have them prep it up and spray it for you. Don't waste your time trying to fix it. I work at a body shop and we replace stuff like this all the time. Once that's done, pick it up and take it back home or where ever your car is at and put it back on. Oh, for the z28 emblem and that body molding, just buy some 3m double sided tape and stick it on the back of those two and they will stick onto the fender.
