I think the Raptor hood would compliment the lines a bit better than the WS6 hood. Seems like it would match up with the Camaro's more subtle look. And actually, thinking about the lines and being subtle... I wonder what a project like this would look like with the Firebird/Formula front bumper instead... considering the Z28 and Formula are essentially the same car... hm....
I nominate this thread to go into the appearance hall of fame, as so many people view it and it really is one of a kind. Takes alot of work to think of something like that but even more to do it. props to you for going out on your own and doing something different!

Who am I to discuss anyones taste but.......OMG. For sure I like the front end, but I think if your going to put a Camaro rear end... I would of kept it more original. Anyways keep us posted and we will see the finished product.
props to you man, i thought my camaro with a trans am interior was out there. cant wait to see it done, looks awesome in flat black primer,cant imagine how its gonna be when its got a quality paint job on it

checking memory Anyone remember another car that was a product of someone's originality? I'm thinking something in the range of Corvette or Thunderbird even. Both turned into American icons in the automotive industry. These are all products of someone's ingenuity and inability to 'just stick with what was there'. I personally don't love it, but it's not my project...oh and EVERYONE will look at this thing wherever he takes it, no matter if they love or hate it.
