got a dealer to replace my roof... FYI, I live in St. Louis and I have a CETA with only 6,000 miles. Needless to say, I noticed the epoxy starting to show under the sail panel. I have had several 98+ Fbodies and of course, the CETA gets the problem...
It is not real bad but I decided to stop by a local Pontiac dealership with the service bulletin in hand (no CETA) and talked with the body shop manager. That was 2 weeks ago and today he called me and said the local Pontiac rep said he would cover the replacement for a $100 deductible (I have no warranty of any kind and I am the 3rd owner). He said since I have a low mile CETA, he would take care of me...
Just wanted to pass this along. Also, he mentioned he would use a glass company that does his glass work to use piano wire to remove the old roof which makes me EXTREMELY nervous. I do not want the underneath to get all tore up. Is there anythnig I need to worry about here? Thanks
