Default Help with ghost flames!

So my bro is painting his truck in a couple weeks. It is a 98 Dodge Dakota and he is repainting it Viper Red. Well it just so happens the guy teaching him has some red pearl sitting at the shop. Now my brother wants to put ghost flames on the truck but he doesn't know how it will turn out. He is worried the flames will come out looking pink. What do you guys think that do this for a living? Will they be pink or will it look good?

my best advice is to do a spray out panel. That way, he knows exactly how it will look.

Yes definitely do a test panel, and I would spray ghost flames a little different than your brother's friend, it's hard to get a red and a red pearl to match enough to make it work just right. I would use an inner coat clear tinted with some pearl to pull it off nice and subtly, which is more my taste, and it wouldn't be pink, but that just my two pennies...
