lightweight hoods..

hey im in the market for a lightweight ss style hood.. is there any sponsors or anything that sells a good one? I wasn't able to find them.. as light and cheap as possible would be nice...

VFN makes a 3inch SS hood thats lighter than stock SS hoods....you might not like the rise...but check it out. It's on their website...www.vfnfiberglass.com

The Carbon Fiber hood sold by Octane motorsports (actually made by C-wings) is a lightweight SS style hood; They also make strange versions with silly vents...

Paint it and you'll have a light hood that'll look stock; Or be like me and leave the Manta unpainted to show off the CF weave, but never get heckled about CF on a camaro...
