Default Advice on a freshly painted car

My car was painted today and I'm going to get it in a few days. I am wondering when I should do my first wax.. also there has been some bad weather here lately and my car might be out in the rain for awhile. Putting it in a garage isn't an option, I am wondering if a car cover might hurt the paint since it will be so fresh. When I get the car back I will take pictures btw.
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated

A car shouldnt get waxed until at least a month after the paint job. Also u should hold off on putting a car cover the paint is still soft and could get messed up.Good luck with your car and just be patient the rain is not giong to damage the paint take care.

fresh paint should not be waxed for up to 60-90days, use a polish until then

do NOT put a car cover over it, if it sits in the sun and bakes you are asking for problems
