Several companies make a stripper for plastic parts and rubber. Sem has one called urethane bumper stripper. Its in an aerosol can so be careful not to breathe the fumes and do it in a well ventillated area.

I've use Lacquer Thinner or some stuff called Ditz-O (good stuff) and it'll take it off now problem. It will however dry out the plastic BIG TIME!! So once you get the part cleaned you'll have to condition it to re-hydrate it.

Don't use lacquer thinner on plastic it will melt it.

Hmm, you're probably right (it's been a while since I've had to clean plastic that way). I'd say Ditz-O is the way to go. I KNOW that won't damage anything. It's even safe to use on paint.
