ok i have a fast 90 intake i had painted to match my car and it bubbled and started flaking off... and the paint i cant get off is a pain in the ***. so is there a chemical that will remove the paint without harming the plastic intake manifold itself?

I've use Lacquer Thinner or some stuff called Ditz-O (good stuff) and it'll take it off now problem. It will however dry out the plastic BIG TIME!! So once you get the part cleaned you'll have to condition it to re-hydrate it.

Hmm, you're probably right (it's been a while since I've had to clean plastic that way). I'd say Ditz-O is the way to go. I KNOW that won't damage anything. It's even safe to use on paint.
