t-top conversion help

i am thinking about buying a 94 trans am hard top. i was wondering if there was someone around the dfw , tx area that could do it for me, of course i am going to pay the person for it i just wanna know before i buy the car, because a trans am or camaro w/o t tops is like the richest man in the world robbing a bank, its just pointless imo

i thought they didnt make trans am hardtops.

I think they did during the 93-97 LT1 years... but not during the 98+ LS1 cars.

Now that I say that.... some one will no doubt post a pic of a 98+ hardtop

i suppose you could get the 2 bars on the sides and weld those in and then buy a roof and have it glued in

Find someone who converted a hardtop to t-top and use their roof. duct tape works well but I woud go with the 200 mph tape which will work good up to 35 mph.

I'd help if you were over on the East coast....

I second (or fifth I guess) the motion to just find a t-top car. I converted mine just because I had it for so long...

And I'd imagine that it'd be easier to convert a t-top car to hardtop, but you'd have to buy a new roof skin, obviously. I always wanted to use a hard top car, and replace the main part of the roof skin with tinted lexan. I don't take the tops off all that much, but I love how the glass roof opens it up.
