Default pdr paintless dent removal

is it a foolish thought to get some basic pdr tools/training material and try to figure out how to do this? all of my cars seem to have some type of ding in them and it sure would be nice to invest some money ($500?) and learn the basics. need a winter hobby!!

Was going to say this isn't going to be a cheap...but you already know you will spend a couple hundred on tools...so thats good. I say go for it, I mean you'll have the tools and can learn how to do it. PDR is a pain from what i've seen and briefly attempted... but who knows you may learn you are great at it.

PDR is something that you're either good at or terrible at...its definately something you wont learn overnight and takes years of practice to be "good"...sometimes you can make the dent worse if you dont know what you doing!!!

If you are willing to invest the time and patience do it. You have the cars to practice on so you can take your time perfecting your skills. When my car was in the shop getting repaired they had a guy come in and take out a few dings and it looks great now.

It's great to learn, I'm not sure if you get much hail in SD but in some areas that are hail prone(like the midwest) you can make BIG bucks.
