wow, thats extremely excessive. clear is ready for wetsanding and buffing after 24 hours. i believe you are thinking about wax, which probably should wait for a while to apply it. have fun buffing it out, you will be there a while.

No offense, but I hope there is plenty of clear on that car, because you are gonna have to buff the **** out of it for it too look good. I can see in the pics how coarse the texture is, and the paint is not reflecting much light- almost looks like a single stage paint to me?

Don't wait 3 weeks to buff it, get er done within 24-48 hours, otherwise you'll need tommy john surgery from blowing out an elbow after too much sanding.

i think its not reflecting much light because of the crappy camera. bugt i see the coarseness of it. take some higher quality pics. also do not wait 3 weeks to buff the car or its going to be a bitch and a half. i normally wait a whole 24 hours on black cars so theres no dye back. i see all the orange peel by the emblems i recommend taking them off and wetsanding everything flat for a really nice finish. the other reason for taking them off would be so you dont have a lot of peel around the emblems and none on the rest of the body.

Yeah, now if you want to remove them for the purpose of buffing, you'll prolly take some clear, color, or both with the emblem trying to get it off.
