I have a fresh Century 2004r for sale,this is an original turbo Regal BRF trans.According to Mike Kurtz,this one also has a $650 PTS Extreme billet fwd drum and originally sold for $3200 not including the core charge.He says it will hold up in a full weight(4000+) low 10 second Buick Grand National all day long.Trans has all the good stuff and will take anything you can throw at it with a good convertor.
Trans is setup for lockup but can be converted to non lock fairly easily.
Trans has just been freshened with new clutchs and band from PTS and is ready to rock,wether it be in a 10 second Camaro or TA or GN.Even if building a 2004r yourself,you couldnt come close to this trans for the money.Not to mention,it has been built by 1 of the best in the business,Mike Kurtz,a supporting vendor here.
These are a unicase design and will fit BOP and Chevrolet and they are a much better choice for a performance application than a 700r4 or 4l60e due to there low 1st gear.A 2004r is basically a th350/th400 with od.
I am in Birmingham,AL and will ship this,figure $125-$150 to most states.
1st $1500 firm for the trans,if usng PP,you pay the fees.Sorry but I will not take any less,I just spent $550 on having it freshened so I know it is 110%.

This trans is a Stage 2,here is some info on Mike's Stage 1 builds:
1895.95 With your core(cores are hard to come by we will need your unit to build,turbo regal BRF core's are going for between $500-$800)
For vehicles from stock to 500 r.w.h.p Complete tranny build including the following upgrades.
*Century's shift kit calibrated to our specs
*.500 boost valve, HP regualtor valve, HP 13 vane and rotor kit assy. with hardened pump rings
*hardend stator support shaft
*HP Wide band w/reinforced struts & lined with Kevlar or Carbon fiber
*Billet band anchor pin
*HP pump slide spring
*Supershaft cryoed drum, Stock foward drum shaft is beefed up by tig welding additional material right below splines, Where they are prone to twisting and breaking off.
*Rollerized rear center support
*HP third clutch kit, 7 Red Eagle frictions & Koleen steels(one extra clutch & steel over stock)
*HP forth clutch kit, We modify forth clutch apply piston to add an additional clutch(total of three clutches) Alto Red Eagle & Koleen steels used.
*New overdrive sprag
*New low/ reverse sprag
*Teflon coated pump bushing
*New selective pump thrush washer & New selective button washer to get proper end play
*Alto Red Eagle & Kollen steels are also installed in foward, low/reverse and overrun clutch packs
*New output shaft bushing
This one also has the PTS billet fwd drum and several other parts pushing the cost to over $3200 when bought new.Mike Kurtz can verify all parts used in this build.
I can have a manual trans brake added for another $200 if the buyer wants.Thanks.
