Maybe some SS guys can help me out to make sure this is an original hood...
Here is what I know,
I saw it come off of an original ss car (Guy was buying a cowl hood.
It has the honeycomb insert in it.
The outlet for the air to get into the airbox on the underside of the hood has 4 holes and 2 rubber seals.
I have compared this hood to other SS hoods and they look identical, It isn't further up or bigger or taller than the original SS hoods. There are no numbers that are present to ID this as an SLP hood. I know of no aftermarket hoods that have that type of outlet, I can post more pictures. But my car is a Z28 I was told this was an original SS hood and I saw it come off the car. If you are interested and know of a definitive way to know let me in on it.....
