Default 427 stroker

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $9500
Part Fits: Corvette
Location (State): CA
Item Condition: Used
Engine: LS1/LS6
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

Mainly post on Corvette Forum but thought i would give this a try.Thinking about parting out my 02 Z06 along with selling the 427 stroker thats in it. This is the second build for this motor. The first block was a 4.125 dry sleeve and one of the sleeves dropped with only 7k on it. The new block is an ERL Superdeck I 4 bolt gen III alum block can handle up to 1100hp way stronger than an LS7 and lighter than a LSX. Everything is top of the line parts in this motor. The motor has been started and idled for maybe 15 mins but has ZERO miles on it. My clutch/slave went out so I havent been able to drive the car with the new build. Im going to upgrade to a C6 Z06 if this motor sells by next week if not im putting it back together and putting some miles on it.

Specs on the motor are :

Erl superdeck I 4 bolt block 4.125 bore
Lunati forged 4" crank 24x wheel
Carrillo forged 6.125 H-beam rods
Child & Alberts forged pistons with -15cc releifs
11.5:1 Compression Ratio
Brand new Speed Pro Hellfire Nitrous Rings gapped for a 200 shot
Brand new Clevite 77 H series rod and main bearings
ARP 12pt main studs
ARP 12pt Head studs
Brand new Cometic .040 head gaskets
Cartek 5x Heads/ 243 castings. 2.10 INT 1.60 EXH, milled to 58cc
Cartek 5x camshaft specs unknown
PRC valve spings .675 lift
FAST 102mm fully ported and opened to 107mm by VA Speed
107mm FBW Throttle Body custom by VA speed
LS2 Fuel rail powdercoated gloss black
42lb Green top injectors
IWIS Heavy Duty roller timing chain
Ligenfelter LS6 High Volume oil pump
LS7 lifters brand new
Comp cams hardend 7.350 pushrods
Powerbond 25% underdrive pulley
MSD wires
All new GM/ Fel Pro gaskets and seals
Also including the computer with the dynojet tune for this motor, with yours in return
Will not be including oil pan, and front accessories
Have reciets for mostly everything

Dyno'd the car right after I got the cartek H/C with a bad block loosing a ton of compression because of the dropped sleeve which I didnt find out till later, still made 530rwhp and 512rwtq on 91 octane and a fast 90/90 with ls7head gaskets at the time. Cartek told me 550+rwhp no problem with this set up' so with the new ERL block,.040gaskets and 107 intake I see another 30-50 rwhp for this motor.

I also have some other c5 performance parts like a fully built t-56 only 50 miles on it with receits, built rear with hardend shaft and new clutch pack, full kooks exhaust , roll bar , hood, line lock and some other misc stuff but only will be getting rid of those parts if the motor sells.

will not part out!
ASKING $9,500 + Paypal fees unless local cash pickup. Will ship but buyer pays for shipping/insurance costs

The first block I bought used. I was told they were darton dry sleeves. After doing some research when I took it apart I found out that darton never did dry sleeves in ls1 blocks only there m.I.d wet sleeves, they use the dry sleeves in ls2 blocks so I narrowed it down to a place called augustinos. The first sleeves were super thin also, the erl block is at least 5 times thicker on each sleeve.
