These do have the optional add on of the double spring kit which is a $250 option so these are over $300 off a new set right now with only a few thousand miles

That is what I was told when I bought it. I changed the idler arm and plate from my stock one to fit my 98 car as this was off a 2000 I believe.

did you have to flycut pistions. did you check ptv clearence with thouse heads. did you just put it in dot to dot. is check ptv clearence nesseary with the ms4 thanks.

i'm interested in these, gotta wait on my tax return tho. i'm lookin at the same cam too. how bad was it without the tune? driveable to the dyno?

No flycutting the pistons. Didn't measure clearance just lined up dot to dot. I didnt drive it to the Dyno as it is like 300 miles but I did drive it before the tune. Not terrible

ok. wasn't sure about needing a mail tune to just get it up and running and then a real tune, or if you could just cruise to the shop and get the custom done from the go. I've been planning pretty much this same build. lets hope the IRS hurries up! haha
