Selling this short block, in hopes to help fund a new build. There is absolutely not a thing wrong with this short block, just need to be able to step up, without hurting this one when need be.

Motor was fresh before the LSX Shootout, done at BES Racing Engines(who built it org. anyways) all new bearings, rings, and 2 new pistons. Now at the shootout be learned why it hurt the first 2 pistons, by also hurting another piston. So its getting another new #8 piston put in, before being sold, so short block will be 110% ready when sold. We learned after having our fuel pump flowed that we were over the limit running the q16 fuel. Guess you live and learn.

anyways, here is some specs on the motor. Have full build sheet that will be given to buyer.

-02 6.0L iron block, deep style head bolts.
-Eagle 4.100 stroke crank **Callies 24x billet wheel**
-Eagle h beams, with ARP2000 bolts
-wiseco k451x3 pistons, with total seal nitrous rings, gapped for spray. Specs in build sheet given to buyer.
-new rings and bearings, with 4 passes on it.
-ARP Main studs, and ARP head stud kit included
-will also come with front and rear covers, with new seals at time of freshen.
-choice of camshafts, got one for more of NA small spray deal, and got one thats a nitrous eater! both custom spec'd by Tony at BES. Also got valvesprings to match camshafts, that still test within 1% of new, that can go with.
-PBM solid roller lifters.
-melling select oil pump
-comp cams double roller chain.
sure I am forgetting something....

asking $4,000 for all listed above.

Motor has gone 8.55 at 156, 3220lbs, on a .082 jet. Usually shift at 7500, rev limiter 8k.


make sure you read everything thats included, before saying anything about the prices, just between cam, timing chain, oil pump and ARP hardware, thats over 1200 bucks worth of stuff, and I just spent 2k on it having it all freshened. this isnt a half *** built, short block out of a crate, nothing is/was overlooked. Just trying to get a little cash back out of it.


Basically, ready to bolt on cylinder heads and finish your build. motor has 1 piston thats being fixed whenever the piston gets made by wiseco and shipped to BES.

I also got a 30% U/D ATI balancer that can be included for another 200, and also got a Jones racing drive mandrel setup to drive vac pump or external oil pump, or alternator that can be sold with balancer for another 150.

ohhh yeah, crank does have the upgraded billet 24x wheel from Callies.!!!!

can sell without camshaft and lifters if someone wanted to be a Hyd Roller. -$400.

Bump for a good seller! sell me the solid roller **** and I'll give you my hyd roller cam springs and morrels to make this a good street motor for someone!

well, these pistons are sided, meaning there are a left and right, well they sent a left, and I deff need a right being this is #8 and it has to be offset on that one to clear the reluctor wheel.

SO it will be a few weeks before its back together, but no biggie to me. Few interested.
