Used or New Cam
Have a 2004 lq4 going in a 1988 standard Cab truck with stock gears and probably 2800-3200 stalk converter eventually. Looking for a cam (doesn't have to be big) that would make this a fun truck but also still a good DD. Not too sure what I'm looking for atm, but let me know what you got, thanks!

Still searching. lol I keep missing the ones that get posted as they go quick. 220r, 224r, 228r or therebouts. Let me know what you have! Can text at 7zero2-232-833O. Thanks!
NEW OEM GM LS9 cam (~$125 on eBay), NEW 2005 LS2 24x cam gear (~$20 on eBay), NEW LS2 timing cover with cam sensor/gasket/bolts (~$95 on eBay), LS3 valve springs (~$70 on eBay), LS1-LS2 cam sensor extension/conversion harness ($19.00 on eBay).
Above is the list of parts needed to make the LS9 cam work in a Gen III engine.
I would also do LS7 lifters, LS2 timing chain and an upgraded oil pump such as an LS6 oil pump or a Melling 10296, upgraded injectors (32# or better) if you do not already have that stuff.
The LS9 cam is good for 25-35 rwhp over stock truck & LS1/LS2/LS3/L76 cams, and doesn't require a retune from a stock tune, unless you upgrade injectors -a tune would definitely help maximize gains with this cam.
